Back when I was a kid, before there was history, there was a famous show, It’s Howdy Doody time, well now we say HOLY BUCKETS, it’s the Depue Men’s Club Nationals with US Title Series and APBA time on Lake Depue.  Home to the most knowledgeable, fantastic and largest crowds in Pro outboard racing.

Testing on Wednesday/Thursday July 26/27 and racing on Friday-Sunday July 28-30.

Some items to be aware of:
Golf carts need a sticker that allows you to use it on city streets to go for supplies at Casey’s or the Dollar General store.  The fee is 20.00, please contact Paul, Big Pal, for your sticker.
 
The Banquet will once again be lakeside in the hospitality tent at the park.
 
Black Diamond will be doing capsule training Wednesday evening the 26th at the Spring Valley pool, just east of Depue on Rt.29/6.  The fee is 100.00 direct to Black Diamond and will begin about an hour after testing.
 
The Silver Dome will have drink specials all week during the event and Thursday evening, the annual Boat Racers Trip to the Dome will take place.  They will also have music that night, from 8:00pm till you can’t dance….. 
Dawgs Dugout will also be promoting specials on their drinks all week and they have a DJ coming in on Thursday as well with Chuck-dog Thursday night and Friday Phil Banks and Saturday will feature Valley Kats. 
During the week, we encourage the drivers and crews to stop in both places as they support the program as well as individual drivers, our thanks to them.

Also, Casford Crossing will be serving on Friday and Saturday night of the races. Chicken , fish, hamburgers, chesseburgers, and appetizers. It will be carry outs only for those evenings. Give them a call at 815-915-7919. Great food, give them a try.

The Depue HS Gym has opened their facilities to the drivers and crews for showers once again, and we thank them for their efforts.  Showers will be available starting Monday the 24th through Sunday, the 30th.  Showers available from 8am-9pm
 
The Men’s Club Food stand will once again be operating with Donnie Joe and his double cheeseburger’s available all week, along with count them, 12 vendors on the street, and the guy who got the last funnel cake last year, I’m looking for you, they were out when I got there.

The fans are already marking their viewing spots 3 weeks before we get there, the enthusiasm is high and they are waiting for us. 

Be safe on the road, the race is here at the best race course and venue in the country, and we want you here.
